Anytime now, Martin Nievera will start his month-long nightly shows at the Steve Wyrick Theater of Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas, his and his beloved Katrina Ojeda and their three-month-old son Santino Martin second home. In April, Martin might take time out from Las Vegas and have a show at the Lehman Center for Performing Arts in New York to mark his 25th anniversary in the music industry.

The big question is: When Martin’s Las Vegas stint is over, will he and Katrina come home for good?

It’s a possibility because, according to a Funfare informer, Martin has bought a unit in South of Market, a fully-fitted and fully-furnished luxury residential condominium at Fort Bonifacio Global City; and, as a weekend home, a house-and-lot package at Canyon Ranch, the first Wi-Fi-integrated community now being constructed in Carmona, Cavite. Both developments are by Century Properties, Inc., a 20-year-old visionary real-estate company.

South of Market (or SoMa) is expected to be completed in 2008, the same year Martin and Katrina are planning to come home.

I guess that if ever, Martin will make the Philippines his base and he’ll continue to pursue his Great American Dream which is almost within his reach.
